Tylenol infants drop: Weight Dose Frequency
8lb-11lb 15oz 1.25ml every 4-6 hours as needed
12lb-16lb 15oz 2.5 ml every 4-6 hours as needed
17lb- 20lb 15oz 3.75ml every 4-6 hours as needed
 21lb 5.0 ml every 4-6 hours as needed

Tylenol Children: Weight Dose Frequency
15lb-17lb ½ tsp. every 4-6 hours as needed
18lb-21lb ¾ tsp. every 4-6 hours as needed
22lb-26lb 1 tsp. every 4-6 hours as needed
27lb-30lb 1 ¼ tsp. every 4-6 hours as needed
31lb-34lb 1 ½ tsp. every 4-6 hours as needed
35lb-38lb 1 ¾ tsp. every 4-6 hours as needed
>39lbs 2 tsp. every 4-6 hours as needed

Motrin Infant: 12lb-17lb 1.25ml every 6-8 hours as needed
(age> 6 months) 18lb-23lb 1.875ml every 6-8 hours as needed

Motrin Children: 15lb-17lb ½ tsp. every 6-8 hours as needed
18lb-21lb ¾ tsp. every 6-8 hours as needed
22lb-26lb 1 tsp. every 6-8 hours as needed
27lb-30lb 1 ¼ tsp. every 6-8 hours as needed
31lb-34lb 1 ½ tsp. every 6-8 hours as needed
35lb-38lb 1 ¾ tsp. every 6-8 hours as needed
 39lb 2 tsp. every 6-8 hours as needed.

Always consult the physician before giving Tylenol to a child less than 4 months old!

Tylenol and Motrin/Advil are 2 different medications and thus work through 2 different chemical pathways. At times they can be given together, but please call and discuss this with a nurse or physician before you would give them together.
