Michael Ruff MD
Dr. Ruff is a native of Bloomington, IN and has been practicing in Jasper since 1994. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University in 1983 with a degree in Molecular Biology. Dr. Ruff also attended Vanderbilt for his Medical Training and received his Doctorate of Medicine in 1987. Dr. Ruff completed his internship and residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. After completing a four year obligation to the army (six months of which were spent with the First Infantry Division during Operation Desert Storm) Dr. Ruff joined Jasper Pediatrics. Dr Ruff has published several articles in major pediatric journals. Dr. Ruff is Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics and he is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Indiana University. His clinical interests include newborn care, hospital care of pediatric patients, and evaluation of children with school problems. Dr. Ruff enjoys sports. In his free time, he likes to travel with his wife, Whitney, and their 3 daughters , Paula Quinn, Sophie, & Camille.
Douglas Bies MD
Dr. Bies is a native of Jasper. He graduated from Wabash College with a B.A. degree in Mathematics. He then attended Indiana University, where he earned an M.B.A. Dr. Bies attended and graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1987. Dr. Bies was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society for medical students before graduating. Dr. Bies completed his pediatric residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. Dr. Bies initially practiced at the Welborn Clinic in Evansville, IN from 1990-1999. He joined Jasper Pediatrics in 2001. Dr. Bies is Board Certified. His special interests include developmental pediatrics, growth problems, and pediatric emergencies. In his free time, he likes to play golf and hike. Dr. Bies and his wife, Cindi, have five children, Alicia, twins Michael & Andrew, Maggie and Jack.
Kathirene Wilcoxen MD
Dr. Wilcoxen received her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science in North Chicago, IL and completed a pediatric residency at University of Louisville in Kentucky. She is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. She was very active throughout her collegiate career and was honored with various awards and accolades. She also helped provide free medical care to the underserved population through Sojourn Medical Clinic in Louisville, and served on various committees including Neonatal Committee and P.U.S.H., a resident driven child advocacy group at University of Louisville.
Lindsey Taylor MD
As a native of Jasper, Dr. Taylor is beyond excited to head back to her hometown in November to join the Jasper Pediatrics family. Dr. Taylor graduated from Indiana University in 2009 with a B.A. in Biology. As an undergraduate, she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She then attended medical school at Indiana University and earned her Doctorate of Medicine in 2013. Throughout medical school and residency, she actively volunteered with inner-city medical clinics and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Dr. Taylor completed her pediatric residency at Riley Children’s Hospital in 2016. Her special interests include adolescent care, genetic disorders, and pediatric emergencies. Dr. Taylor enjoys reading, traveling, as well as spending time with family and friends.
Yvonne Rominger CFNP
Yvonne is a native of French Lick, IN. She graduated from Vincennes University School of Nursing in 1986 and the Indiana University School of Nursing in 1990. She has training in critical care and is certfied in both adult and pediatric advanced life support. Yvonne completed a Masters of Science Degree and Family Nurse Practioner Program at Spalding University in 1998. Yvonne and her husband Mark have two children, Alec & Allison. Yvonne is an avid IU Basketball and New York Yankees fan.
